Pumpkin Mousse

I don’t know about you, but in my house, around this time of the year, anything with pumpkin in it is a weekly must. Whether it’s breakfast, dinner, or dessert I like to try and incorporate pumpkin into it. When I found this Pumpkin Mousse recipe I knew I had to try it. My husband and son loved it and I also turned it into a dip and served it with Biscoff cookies, it was a huge hit! Layer it with some cool whip and you’ve got yourself a pumpkin trifle. There is so much to do with this simple Pumpkin Mousse recipe it is sure to be a popular dish in your household or at your Halloween party, it would even be great at your Thanksgiving dinner for dessert.

Pumpkin Mousse


  • 2 (8oz) packages of cream cheese - room temperature
  • 3/4 C pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 C greek yogurt
  • 3/4 C maple syrup
  • 1/2 TSP ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 TSP ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 TSP ground ginger
  • 1/2 TSP ground cloves


  1. Beat the cream cheese until smooth
  2. Add the pumpkin puree and green yogurt
  3. Slowly add the maple syrup scraping down the sides of the bowl to ensure even mixing
  4. Beat in spice mixture
  5. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving

    For the trifle, do you let it set up, and then layer it later? Or do you layer and then refrigerate?
