Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownies

I can’t believe it’s August! Whose ready for the weekend? I know I am. We have had a busy summer but I wouldn’t want it any other way. This week we are spending time in NJ with family, Saturday I am going to see Long Island Medium and then it’s back home to MD to put some final touches on a bridal shower and get ready for a busy August! A little over a month until I am attending my first blog conference, I am super excited to head to Ohio with Jeremy in September.

Are you ready for the messiest and tastiest treat ever? So they may not have come out as pretty as the original recipe but hey, who cares, they still tasted great! Sweet and salty is the perfect combo for any dessert. I also love the added crunch you get with the pretzels.


Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownies

Serves: 12 brownie sqaures
Sweet & Salty Perfection!
  • You will need:
  • 9 X 13 greased pan
  • 1 box Betty Crocker fudge brownies
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 C water
  • 2/3 C vegetable oil
  • 3 C pretzels
  • 1 jar caramel sauce
  • coarse sea salt
  1. Directions:
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Grease 9 X 13 pan
  4. Prepare brownie batter according to box instructions
  5. Pour 1/3 of the brownie batter into baking pan
  6. Once batter is spread evenly on the bottom of the pan top with 2 layers of pretzels
  7. Pour remaining brownie batter on top
  8. Bake for 30 minutes
  9. Remove and let cool
  10. Spoon caramel sauce on top of brownies and add a few pinches of sea salt
  11. Enjoy!
