I can’t believe we are already a week into August, where did the summer go?! I know I say that every summer, but seriously. Matthew is still recovering from his tonsillectomy and Jonathan was in the ER over the weekend with a high fever and hand foot and mouth disease..I am wondering if we will ever catch a break over here.
For the first TNM Transformation Tuesday post, I figured I’d share some before and afters of a few rooms in the house that are near completion. We are still in the midst of the powder room remodel, but that will definitely be up next Tuesday.
Starting with the entry way, we added this beautiful piece from overstock and a faux flower arrangement from Home Goods, I would eventually like to hang a large canvas print of our family on the wall behind the table.
We had the spindles going up the stairs painted white, they were a cream color before and the change of color really made them pop and stand out.
The foyer and up the second story hallway is wall paper, while its nice a nice light print it has some chunks missing from it from the previous owners moving out and some from us moving in. I’d like to paint the ceiling white for now until eventually painting the entire downstairs Repose Grey from Sherwin Williams.
We also had the trim and doors painted white, again HUGE difference!
We had our master bedroom and den (my makeup studio) painted Mindful Grey from Sherwin Williams and the painting above the bed was found at Home Goods. The copper in the painting inspired all the copper decor pieces found throughout the room.
