I hope you had a great weekend. It’s back to the grind this week. I thought I would be bummed about getting on our regular schedule again, but I am actually looking forward to it. I am almost caught up on the laundry and I’ve managed to keep the house pretty clean even through the holidays and having house guests.
Saturday we celebrated my birthday, even though it’s today. We got a babysitter for Matthew, had a nice sushi lunch and then we saw the movie Wild with Reese Witherspoon. We had cake with Matthew when we got home and then we got ready for our friends to come over to watch the Ravens VS Steelers game. I made my favorite football foods, Jalapeño Popper Dip and Cheddar Bacon Ranch Dip.
Sunday I woke up not feeling very good, but I knew I had to buckle down on the laundry and then we put away all of the Christmas and Hanukkah decorations. I was dreading the decoration take down, but it didn’t end up being too bad and it felt good to reorganize it better for next year.
For dinner I made a delicious Lemon Chicken and Brussels Sprouts meal, it will be on the blog later this week.
Hoping to get a good nights sleep and wake up feeling better.
Check back tomorrow for our California Vacation Recap and the Cook it! Craft it! Share it! Link Party is back on Wednesday night as well.
