Toddler Tuesday – Broccoli Cheese Patties

I am always on the look out for toddler friendly recipes for Matthew. That boy sure does love his nuggets but he’s also always been good about eating fruits and vegetables. I love this broccoli and cheese recipe because it’s something he can pick up and eat himself with his hands or I can cut it into bite size pieces for him to practice picking up with his fork. It’s also a great recipe because mommy and daddy like to eat it too 😉 That means 1 meal = perfect for all of us,  no extra work for me and more time at the table with my family. Remember this blog is about simple and easy recipes, this will be on your table in 30 minutes. Enjoy!!

Broccoli Cheese Patties


  • 16 oz frozen chopped broccoli - thawed and drained of liquid
  • 1 1/2 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 C Italian Breadcrumbs


  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl
  3. Form patties and lay on a parchment lined baking sheet
  4. Bake for 25 minutes (flip them over at 15 minutes)
  5. They should be golden brown on both sides
  6. Let cool
  7. Enjoy!
